I directed the agent to the Synology Hard drive Compatibilty section while on the phone and showed him where under the WD60EFAX is listed and states that it is a SMR drive. His response to me was that I should respect that asume its a SMR drive then and to follow synologys findings. This was from a teir 2 help repersentative from WD.
