Routable IP address is by definition the address that can be routed. However all other answers falsely claim private addresses are the same as non-routable. The truth is much more complex. RFC1918 defines three ranges of private IPv4 addresses which are: 10.0.0.0/8 (16777214 addresses) 172.16.0.0/12 (1048574 addresses) If the IP for the IRM Bridge is192.168.43.8 then the IP for the data server must be 192.168.43.xxx, where"xxx is between 1 and 255 but not "8".
