Right click on the Truecrypt icon in the taskbar, and click on Preferences. 2. Make sure that "Preserve modification timestamp of file containers" is not checked, and click OK. 3. TrueCrypt with Dropbox ^ I have been using EDS Lite for some time, and I found the app to be reliable and easy to use. The main reason I recently switched to the full version was the Dropbox support. I mostly use TrueCrypt under Windows, but occasionally I want to access encrypted files on my phone. Ben, to me it looks like it mounts the dropbox folder inside a truecrypt container, which is exactly what Mike above asked about. From a personal point of view, whether or not this provides any advantage in terms of safety is debatable and depends on who you're protecting your files from. It should certainly protect your files from other us @alinandrei in my situation someone else controls the Dropbox contents, I want to encrypt the Dropbox folder on my side - I guess I want Dropbox in my TrueCrypt, not TrueCrypt in my Dropbox - if I had more control over the situation I would certainly look into EncFS (or use SpiderOak :) ) - maybe this is a fool's errand and I shouldn't be trying to patch a leaky boat - interesting to learn if
